A Journey is an understatement…

Really stoked to have stumbled across up and coming producer Lars’ latest EP, Journey Of The Soul. I’ve been on a tear looking for great EDM to put on while I’m working, just something to keep my head bobbing and keep me focused, this EP checked all the boxes for me. Lars blends Big Room, Progressive House, Melodic Techno & Future Rave to truly take you on a journey (pun intended). It’s a true dedication to the rave, these 4 tracks are really a melting pot of modern dance music.

From the opening synths it’s clear that Lars has crafted a truly immersive sonic experience. The production is rich and layered, blending deep basslines, ambient soundscapes, and subtle touches of melodic vocals. Each track unfolds like a level in a video game, drawing the listener deeper into Lars' world.

Lyrics are few and far between, but hey, sometimes less is more. The introspective nature of the vocals invites the listener to reflect, but quickly the heavy bass kicks back in and you’re back to grooving to the beat. Lars really found the perfect balance on this project.

My favorite track has got to be the opener, Control. The vocals in the final 3rd of the record really stood out to me.

"Journey Of The Soul" is a testament to Lars' artistry and his ability to create a captivating sonic landscape. Again I’m pumped I found this artist and am really looking forward to future releases. If you like finding great new artists before the masses, I recommend giving Lars a follow.
