Let angelbaby’s angelic voice remedy all of your problems. He has such a beautifully soulful sound with a ton of range, and it’s contrasted perfectly by a few short rap verses. The chorus steals the show on this track, and it’s exactly how you’d compose a model R&B hook. The vocals and poetic songwriting might be the highlights, but the production shouldn’t go overlooked. I really like the drumline, and there are some subtle elements that really pull this song together. A great late night jam, “Before You” also makes for an easy, chill listen any time of the day.
