Kristian Del Iv - I Still Care For You

Right away you feel like you’re exploring in a mysterious new world. There is a great deal of anticipation built in the intro of the track that leads into a dreamy, echoey soundscape. The lyrics are full of longing and wonder that is perfectly matched by the overall emotion of the music. At the same time, if you weren’t paying attention you could happily bounce your head to the beat and dial in on work or unwind. Halfway through the track the percussion picks up adding a new level of intrigue. I really like the almost marimba sounding synth pairing with pulsing, brassy synths that build the fullness of this track. This is going directly onto my zone in playlist and I think it should go on yours too.
