I will be blasting this song in the car this summer when I need an extra kick of energy. The vocals are very interesting because they are so ethereal and airy, speaking about longing. This pairs with an overall sound that is hopeful and energetic. I love when songs have this kind of dichotomy. Snares are chopped and sped up to add suspense into the drop that blends a muffled melody with salient, higher pitched percussion to carry the vibe. A great release from an upcoming artist with a lot to offer.
