Zach Bryan - Oak Island

Zach Bryan’s new album, “The Great American Bar Scene”, may be a little more mellow than some of his previous work, but the storytelling in the lyrics is some of the best you will ever hear. Each song takes a few listens to really soak in, but that shouldn’t be a problem, as you’ll want to have this album on repeat for the rest of the summer. He has a number of unexpected features on this album including John Mayer and Bruce Springsteen.

“Oak Island” was one of my favorite new tracks. Like the rest of the album, the storytelling is fantastic, and the slower cadence of the chorus is super unique. Followed up by some horns that usher in the next verse, this song is very well-rounded.
