Pete & Bas - Goodfella

These two 70 year old rappers have been all over social media, starting with their viral song, “T-Pain”, and they’ve seemingly generated more questions than answers in the last month or so. Are they actually singing? Do their grandkids write the songs? Is it a gimmick? I don’t know, but I don’t particularly care. Their debut album, “Mugshot” is very, very good in a number of areas. Age aside, these guys have serious flow and lyricism. They use simple, but effective beats to back their vocals. Like the chorus on this one especially.
