Diplo Continues The Country/EDM Wave

Diplo may have started the country EDM wave with songs like “Bottle’s Bout Dead” and he’s slowly been releasing a bunch of tracks with that sound. He just released his new album which is a compilation of those releases, plus a bunch of new songs that have a strong country sound. This is a really cool project with a ton of awesome and surprising features like the Jonas Brothers, Morgan Wallen, Kodak Black, Young Thug, and many more. “Rain On My Mind” is one of my favorite new tracks on this album. Definitely skews more towards country with an amazing guitar melody and a beautiful male/female duet on the vocals. Love that he’s taking this genre to the next level.
